"Under the current structure, the five non-BCS conferences will get an equal cut of the approximately $24 million of BCS money available because of the success of Boise State and TCU and then split that money among their respective schools. That works out to just over $500,000 each for Boise State and TCU."

This quote is telling me that the smaller schools like TCU and Boise State are not getting as much profit as the larger conference schools. I think that this is one of the reasons why they cant pay every single athlete for playing college sports. Although, if these schools make it to the BCS Championship I think they will make a good profit for a smaller non-BCS conference school and these players that won the championship for them should be rewarded.
